Skoal Room

Skoal Room is Hotel Viking’s classic cocktail bar and lounge in Newport, Rhode Island. Inspired by the hotel’s original bar and the Scandinavian toast “skål,” the revived concept pairs timeless cocktails with dim lighting, polished wood, and an intimate atmosphere made for lingering. PerStudio developed the refreshed brand identity, visual direction, menu design, and supporting brand materials, creating a world that honors the room’s history while giving it a distinct and contemporary presence.
